Shingle Cracked Growth Ring

This is a most amazing texture!

It's good! I did a texture sheet mokume gane, wow! You can see the results below.

Like I always say, I love this texture sheet!

These earrings show a technique  I've used on other example pages.

It's a two part printing process using a texture sheet, raw polymer clay and mica powders.

On this example, PearlEx was lightly rubbed on the out-y part of a texture sheet, the clay sheet was impressed. This both textures and transfers the mica powder to the clay. Next PearlEx rubbed on the out-y part of the clay sheet. The clay sheet is then rolled flat.

Nice effect!

This veneer is completely flat, sanded and buffed to a glossy finish. It is a three layer texture sheet mokume gane technique.

Nice use of some scrap clay, but hum, I thought I could do better with the colors.

Why yes, it looks like I could.

This is Premo Gold polymer clay, tinted with the 'Kato Color Concentrates'. I like it a lot.

I experimented using two of my texture sheets, Shingle Cracked Growth Ring, and if you look to the edges, Green Sea Urchin.

I didn't sand this piece. I like the tiny bit of texture that remains after the mokume gane process.

If you would like more information on the process, here is a great tutorial on the web site Polymer Clay Central:
