GoldBack Fern
This is a beautiful Sierra native. It shows up with the winter rains and is gone when the soil dries.

The fronds are stiff and leathery and make a great mold. It has a very fine spore pattern, almost gives it the look of a tiny granulation.

Here is the texture on a small vessel, antiqued with paint.

 It mica shifts well.

Here is a ceramic look. The bracelet is covered with a white textured clay and baked. Tinted liquid translucent clay is applied to give a glazed look.

Here it is on a pen. The textured pens feel great.

I cover the pen kit tubes with polymer clay, insert a dowel in the tube, and roll the tube across the texture sheet.
